Core Principles
The Bible is God’s Word
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is God’s revelation to man and is without error.
(2Timothy 3:15-17; 2Peter 1:21; 1Thessalonians 2:13)
The One True God
We believe in the one true and living God the eternally self-existent “I AM” and He is revealed to us in 3 distinct Personalities, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
(Exodus 3:14; Matthew 3:16-17; 1John 5:7)
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God as revealed in the Scriptures. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, who Himself is God manifested in the flesh.
(John 3:16; 1Timothy 3:16)
We believe that man was created without sin in the image of God, yet because of Adam’s sin in the garden of Eden death, “passed unto all men”, and therefore, all have sinned. Man is eternally lost and separated from God.
(Genesis 1:26-27; 2:17; 3:6; Romans 3:9-10; 23; 5:12-19; 6:23)
We believe mankind is restored and made righteous again before God by the shed blood of His Son, Jesus Christ, on the cross.
(John 3:16; Romans 5:9-11; 10:13-15; Acts 4:10-12; 16:30-31)
Ordinances of the Church
We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion as established by the Lord Jesus Christ. All who repent and believe on Christ as Savior are to be baptized.
(Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:4748; Romans 6:4)
We believe in receiving Holy Communion as given by commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ.
(Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
Holy Spirit
We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity who is at work in our world today, who draws men to Jesus Christ and who is the believers Counselor.
(John 14:15-18; 25-26)
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe in a “second work of grace” called the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, where, as the Scriptures have promised that the Holy Spirit will come upon a believer empowering them for service.
(Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8)
The Return of Christ
We believe in the bodily return of Jesus Christ to earth where He will set up His kingdom on earth and rule for one thousand years.
(Zechariah 14:5; Matthew 24:27,30; Revelation 1:7; 19:1114; 20:16)
Final Judgment
We believe in the final judgment of all human kind and that all have an appointment to stand before the eternal God to be judged for the deeds committed in this life.
(Revelations 20:11-15)
New Heavens and a New Earth
We believe and look forward to the perfect New Heavens and a New Earth where Christ will be Lord and where we who believe will be with the Lord forever.
(Revelations 21:1-4, Psalm 102:26)
